The Main Interface Window

The main interface window, shown in Figure

, displays a graph of the model and provides a brief visualisation of the main features of the model. The components present in the main interface windows can be summarised as follows (see Figure

Main Menu: Drop down type menu for all WireGrid commands, tools and features.
Main Tool Bar: Button type bar for frequently used WireGrid tools.
Symmetry Bar: Button type bar for utilising model symmetry.
Radius Box: Wire radius criteria options.
Graph Window: Physical screen area available for the graph, which is the complete bitmap of the model.
Graph Tool Bar: Button type bar for frequently used graph related features.
Information Bar: Contains important model information.

All the command, features and tools of WireGrid can be accessed via the ``Main Menu'' structure (which will be discussed in Section ). The tool bars and boxes, present in the main interface window, assist the user in using WireGrid as efficiently as possible. These ``items'' will be discussed in more detail in the subsequent sections.
